1. What Are Cookies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. MyKitBuild uses a small number of them, all set by us, and none for advertising.
2. Cookies We Set
All of the cookies below are necessary for the Platform to work or to remember a choice you made. None of them tracks you across other sites.

Your theme (light or dark) and a language choice waiting to be saved to your account are kept in your browser's local storage, not in cookies.
3. Analytics
We measure how the Platform is used with a self-hosted analytics service that runs without cookies: it counts a visit from a daily-changing, anonymised hash and stores nothing on your device. It is why the Platform does not need a cookie banner. If you are signed in, usage is linked to your account so that we can understand how members use their features; it is never shared with third parties.
4. Third-Party Cookies
When you sign in with Google, Facebook or LINE, that provider may set cookies on its own domain as part of signing you in; those are governed by the provider's cookie policy. The sign-in forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people from automated scripts, which may set a cookie on Cloudflare's domain while the check runs. Nothing else on the Platform sets third-party cookies.
5. Managing Cookies
You can delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking mkb_refresh_token signs you out at every visit; blocking NEXT_LOCALE returns the site to the language of your browser.
6. Changes
We may update this Cookie Policy. Changes are posted on this page with a new version number and effective date.
